Zotero and Endnote are both citation management software, which help you collect, manage and cite your research sources. Both are stand-alone desktop applications, though they have browser versions as well. Zotero has a group function that enables multiple users to share citations. Zotero is free and open-source, while Endnote is licensed by WCTS, so your access may eventually go away after you leave Whitman. For information on how to download either tool, and tips and FAQs for both of them, check out the Citation Management Tools page of our Citation Styles libguide.
